A Primer on Phylogenomics Workshop

Led by Edgardo Ortiz and organized by the SSB GraSP (Graduate Student and Postdoc) Committee

This workshop will provide a broad overview of both the theoretical and practical aspects of phylogenetic analysis. We will discuss best practices for conducting phylogenomic analysis, including considerations such as which sequencing strategy is most suitable for your needs, the best pipelines and frameworks for your analysis, and the scope of questions your data can answer. Aimed to provide a guide map for phylogenetic research to beginners, senior undergrads, and first-year grad students.
